Community Meeting April 25th, 2023

Port Angeles School District Superintendent Marty Brewer and Director of Finance Kira Acker will host a community meeting regarding the 2023-24 school year budget on Tuesday, April 25th, at 7pm, in the Jefferson Elementary Gym (218 E 12th St, Port Angeles, WA 98362).

This forum is open to students, families, staff, and community members. During this time, in-person stakeholders can learn more and ask questions about Port Angeles School District's budget outlook and planning for the next school year.

Spring Updates

Here are a few updates from your school district:

  1. Spring break is April 3 – 7, and we are back in session on April 10.
  2. The Port Angeles Food Bank is offering a private shopping event for PASD families on Tuesday, April 4, from 2pm-6pm. Click here to learn more!
  3. Feiro Marine Life Center Scavenger Hunt! Check out this fun family activity. Explore downtown Port Angeles during spring break and enter to win some prizes!
  4. PASD will host a Community Forum regarding the 2023-24 school year budget. During this time, stakeholders can learn more about Port Angeles School District's budget outlook and planning. We will have additional communications upon return from spring break.
  5. The 2023-24 School District Calendar is approved and ready for viewing. Check it out here!
  6. Join us on Saturday, April 29, for our 4th Annual School Supply Shred Event! This event is our yearly fundraiser to raise money for school supplies handed out at our Back to School Fair in August! Come out from 10am - 1pm at Steve Methner's State Farm Insurance office at 611 E Front St, Port Angeles, WA 98362! $10 suggested donation for three grocery bags of paper. We hope to see you there!
