P-EBT is Back for the Summer!

On July 8, 2022, the USDA Food Nutrition Service (FNS) approved Washington state to provide Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) summer benefits.

Summer P-EBT benefits are available to students who:

  • Are eligible for free or reduced-price school meals AND
  • Were enrolled in our school district this past school year.

There is no need to apply to receive these benefits. For eligible students who already have a P-EBT card, benefits will be deposited in August for Summer 2022. If this is the first time your student is eligible, you will receive their P-EBT card in the mail. To replace a previously issued card, call 888-328-9271.

Please Note: New and replacement cards will be sent to the last known address on file. If your address has changed, you can call the P-EBT Contact Center at 833-518-0282 to review and update your information. Cards may take 7-10 business days to arrive once they are sent and need to be activated.

Keep your P-EBT Card! More benefits may be added throughout the school year if FNS approves further benefits. Sign up for P-EBT text updates here.

Students can continue participating in free summer meal programs in our community and still get P-EBT. To learn more about summer meal programs, visit this website.

Double your benefits by participating in DOH SNAP Market Match at participating farmers markets and farm stands. More information is available here.

Do you have any questions about P-EBT? If so, call the P-EBT Contact Center at 1-833-518-0282 or visit www.dshs.wa.gov/pebt.
