Who qualifies for Transition to Kindergarten?
- A child must be four years of age as of August 31st of the year of entry to enter Transition to Kindergarten.
- Priority given to children most in need of additional preparation to be successful in kindergarten, as demonstrated through a screening process and tool; and to children with the lowest family income not otherwise participating in another local early learning program.”
Transition to Kindergarten Details
- Students will be screened to determine eligibility. After submitting the online form, PASD will contact you to schedule your screening appointment.
- If you don’t have internet access, ask for a paper form. They are available at the District Office.
- TTK is an all-day program with breakfast, lunch, and transportation provided
- There will be a maximum of 16 students per class
- This District program will be housed at Dry Creek and Roosevelt Elementary
- It is open to all students within the Port Angeles School District Boundaries
