Transition to Kindergarten (TTK) Details

  • Students will be screened to determine eligibility. After submitting the online form, PASD will contact you to schedule your screening appointment.
  • If you don’t have internet access, ask for a paper form. They are available at the District Office.
  • TTK is an all-day program with breakfast, lunch, and transportation provided
  • There will be a maximum of 16 students per class
  • This District program will be housed at Dry Creek and Roosevelt Elementary
  • It is open to all students within the Port Angeles School District Boundaries

Transition to Kindergarten (TTK) Qualifications

  • This program is for children who do not have access to high-quality early learning experiences before kindergarten.
  • It is available to those deemed by the school district, through a screening process and/or other instrument(s), to need additional preparation to be successful in kindergarten the following year.
  • A child must be four years of age as of August 31st of the year of entry to enter Transition to Kindergarten.
  • A child must be five years of age as of August 31st of the year of entry to enter Kindergarten.
