
Applications are being accepted for the Heritage Language Program grant through the Port Angeles School
District. Individuals who are interested in pursuing an education degree in Klallam Language with the intent
of moving into a teaching position at a school or with the tribe should apply.
Scholarship available upon proof of registration over a one-year period.
(fall, winter and spring of 2021-2022).
Qualifications:
High School Diploma with 2 years of Klallam language or already tribal certified and working towards a
college degree. Preferably Tribal State Certified.

Applications will be screened and awarded by October 15th.
Applicants are encouraged to register now for the Klallam language course currently being offered fall
quarter at Peninsula College.
