Background Information
The Port Angeles School District’s Mathematics Curriculum Committee judged the materials in the Bridges curriculum to be more teacher friendly, as the teacher texts and support materials were easier to read and more organized in approach. Bridges has a good balance of concepts and understanding and contains a very strong computation strand and reinforces algorithms when developmentally appropriate.
