Background Information
The Port Angeles School District’s Mathematics Curriculum Committee recommended the adoption of the McDougal Littell Math text and curriculum materials for sixth, seventh and eighth grades. There is a strong alignment of these materials with the state grade level expectations, and the publisher has provided a Washington supplement to the core text and materials which supports the work in Washington State at the middle grades. The McDougal Littell materials transition from the Bridges materials at grades K-5 and then to the SIMMS integrated text at the high school.
