Food and Coat Drive Results

The Leadership class at Stevens Middle school held a coat, hat,
gloves, and scarves drive as well as teaming up with the Junior Honor Society
for a Families of Stevens food drive. The results were amazing given the fact
that both drives only lasted 8 school days. Over 200 coats and too many to count
hats, gloves, and scarves were collected and given the Port Angeles Food Bank
for distribution to kids who really need such items going into the winter. The
food drive netted food for multiple families in need. Just another good story
about how students in Port Angeles are taking the time and steps to make
Christmas a little better for others.
