Safeway Shopping Dollars Go Back to Schools!

Community members who would like to participate in the eScrip program - in support of all Port Angeles schools - please visit www.escrip.com to take a few minutes to learn more about this fundraising program. Once you sign up, a percentage of your purchases can be automatically donated to your school of choice year-round!

Safeway’s 10% Goes Back to Schools program is in progress now for three weeks beginning September 19.  Visit http://backtoschools.escrip.com before October 13 to choose your favorite school to receive 10% of your purchases during the event period.  Participants can turn Safeway purchase receipts in to your school’s participating organization, or enter your redemption code found on the receipt to make your donation http://backtoschools.escrip.com to your school of choice.

During the 2010-11 school year Port Angeles High School Associated Student Body (ASB) was one of the Top 100 earning groups nationally in the Safeway 10% Goes Back to Schools Program.  Out of the over 40,000 groups that participated, the ASB received a $1,000 bonus in addition to the $4,309.17 earned.  Safeway reported last spring that over $17 million has been donated to schools in the eScrip program.
