Kindergarten Registration in Progress - School Round Up Events Scheduled

Port Angeles, Wash. - Kindergarten registration for the 2012-13 school year began Monday, March 12, 2012 for all eligible students in the Port Angeles School District.
Children must be 5 years old prior to September 1, 2012 for kindergarten enrollment for the 2012-13 school year. Parents or guardians are asked to provide the child's birth certificate and immunization record during registration.
Parents or guardians are encouraged to register their children early to ensure the most efficient placement for all students.
Schools will accept registrations between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, March 12 through June 28; registration will re-open on Wednesday, August 15 through the opening of the 2012-13 school year.
Parents should register their children at the elementary school nearest their home:

Kindergarten "Round Ups" for new students have been scheduled as follows:
Jefferson Elementary: Friday, May 18, 9:45-11:00 a.m.
Franklin Elementary: Tuesday, May 22, 9:45-10:30 a.m.
Dry Creek Elementary: Wednesday, May 23, 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Roosevelt Elementary: Thursday, May 24, 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
Hamilton Elementary: Thursday, June 7, 6:00-7:00 p.m.
