PAHS Senior Emily Metzler Earns FBLA AwardsFrom Bernie Brabant/PAHS teacher:

I want to give a shout out to Emily Metzler, one of our seniors at Port Angeles High School.

Emily is our Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) vice president, and she was recently recognized for her work with FBLA.

Our chapter officers put in a lot of extra work, but Emily did much more…

She qualified for the FBLA National Business Achievement Awards.  There are four levels, and Emily did all the Future and Business levels this year.

This is a big deal, considering that in the State of Washington, FBLA has over 5,000 members from 160 chapters, and only 51 members received the Future Level Award.

At the Business Level, only 21 members received this award.

Nation-wide, there are over 235,000 members, so attaining this level of recognition is significant.

‘Way to go, Emily!
