2019 National School Bus Safety Poster ContestThis year’s poster theme was Red Lights Mean STOP!  Participating students had to design by hand a poster on 11” X 17” paper that incorporated the theme and included at least part of a yellow school bus, under the supervision of a teacher.

Poster entries from Franklin first graders in Sarah Schaefermeyer’s class are currently on display at the Central Services Building in the board room.  All participating students were presented with a certificate and school bus pencil by Transportation Director Karen Ross.

Veronica’s poster advances next month to regional competition in Bremerton.
