June "KONP" Teachers of the Month
During the Dry Creek Elementary Aloha Assembly on Wednesday,
KONP Radio Station Manager Todd Ortloff announced
Beth Backus and Lisa Lisk
are June - Teachers of the Month in the station’s recognition program.

“Mrs. Backus is always really funny and makes us smile (once a day or more.),” said a nomination for Backus. “We always get to learn neat things. We learned about mixtures and solutions in science. We got to play with clay and in social studies we In math, we got to make spinning tops made out of toothpicks and paper. She always makes me happy for being in her class. We always do our best working with our teacher Mrs. Backus!” |
A second award nomination said of Lisk, “Mrs. Lisk helps with math. She lets us do math buckets. Mrs. Lisk is really nice. She always reads us stories. Mrs. Lisk always teaches us how to spell words. She always lets us read so we could all be smarter. She lets almost everybody come and do activities when we have been good!” |
