K-9 Officer Kilo and PAPD Officer Brusseau
present to DC 3rd grade readers after story about K-9 officers.
Sgt. Wenzl helped arrange having Officer Brusseau and Kilo the k-9 unit to DC 3rd grade classrooms today. They had read about police officer k-9 units in their language arts class with Mrs. Schmitt and Mrs. Davis. Officer Kilo (police dog) was a real hit with students. These police partners showed their training and skills to these excited readers to help extend their learning. Kilo was excited to be here, but was most thrilled when he got to hold his red ball at the end of the presentation. Thank you PAPD Officer Brusseau and Officer Kilo for your service in our community.
