PAHS Student Presents to PA Noon RotaryPort Angeles High School sophomore Cole Walsh made a presentation to the Port Angeles Noon Rotary Club recently about his participation at Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). RYLA is Rotary’s training program for young leaders. RYLA emphasizes leadership, citizenship, and personal growth. The Business and Marketing Department nominated Cole and junior Jackie Young to attend the conference that was held at the Pacific Lutheran University campus from March 15-18. Unfortunately, Young was unable to attend.

“RYLA NW is targeted toward high school juniors and sophomores,” said Lisa Joslin, PAHS CTE Business Ed teacher.  “Participants must be sponsored by a Rotary Club, and our local noon Rotary Club sponsored Cole, paying the registration fee and providing transportation to and from the conference.”

“Cole's presentation was articulate, poised, and professional,” Joslin continued. “We would like to thank the PA Noon Rotary for providing this valuable experience for Cole!”
