PAHS NJROTC Takes the CupOn Saturday, April 21, Jonathan Picker, CAPT, USN (ret), Senior Naval Science Instructor, and his NJROTC Roughriders took the Cup in the inaugural Northwest Navy Drill Competition. The competition was held at Curtis Senior High School in University Place and 36 cadets from Port Angeles High School attended. 

Competing in a completely new competition format, Port Angeles went head to head with other Navy JROTC teams from across the state and won the overall championship.

Personnel Inspection – first place

Armed Basic Drill – first place

Unarmed Basic Drill – fifth place

Armed Exhibition – fourth place

Unarmed Exhibition – seventh place

Color Guard – first place

Push-ups – second place

Sit-ups – first place

10x100m Relay – second place

8x200m Relay – second place

Academics – eighth place

Overall – first place
