Student Representatives visit Olympia, WA with School Board Directors for Day on the Hill eventsStudent representatives in Olympia, WA with school board directors attended the annual WSSDA Legislative Conference.  WSSDA stands for Washington State School Directors’ Association.  Day on the Hill activities included a tour of the state capitol building and meeting with legislators. This conference is held during the legislative session and provides an excellent opportunity for administrators and school directors to meet with their legislators and get up-to-date information about key education policy issues. The conference began Sunday, January 28, with presentations on hot issues affecting public education and concluded Monday, January 29, with a Day on the Hill.
