As we continue moving forward, let us remember that education is a responsibility, and a blessing, for us as a community.

We recognize and value cooperative teamwork among our stakeholders; students, teachers, support staff, parents, administrators, and community members. For this to happen, there must be an attitude of openness and mutual respect, honest listening and dialog, the willingness to respond to change, and the ability to compromise.

We believe our community resources must be maximized to meet our student needs. We must nurture an environment for our children that is student-centered, with a focus on individual student needs. In addition, professional development of school staff must be a high priority and should focus on the district's strategic plan which ultimately impacts our students’ achievement goals. We are committed to developing and maintaining an atmosphere that supports and encourages lifelong learning.

I invite all of you to participate in our journey to fulfill the district's mission by working together to ensure that we create and sustain learning communities that prepare each student to live, work, and learn successfully in a changing world.
