Thomas Meyer and Cameron Little, incoming seniors at Port Angeles High School, recently attended Boys State in Ellensburg, Washington. They were nominated by faculty at Port Angeles High School and selected by the local American Legion Post.

Franklin Elementary School Receives Picturing America Program

Franklin Elementary School is one of over 56,000 schools and public libraries across the nation awarded the Picturing America program. Picturing America is a free initiative from the National Endowment for the Humanities that helps teach American history and culture by bringing some of the country’s great art directly to classrooms and libraries.

Port Angeles Student Chosen Principal Bassoonist of the World Youth Symphony Orchestra

Hunter Gordon, a senior at Port Angeles High School Student, has been selected as the principal bassoonist for the World Youth Symphony Orchestra, the top orchestra at Interlochen Center for the Arts, Summer Arts Camp.
