CRU Institute staff trained Port Angeles High School Peace Keepers on Friday and Saturday on how best to approach a situation where two students are in disagreement.

181 School Districts Register for First Year of Online State Testing

More than 360 schools in 181 school districts registered and were accepted to participate in the first year of online state testing. This spring, students in grades 6-8 in the participating schools will take the Measurements of Student Progress on a computer in reading and/or math. Stevens Middle School will participate in online testing this first round.

Crescent Teacher KONP February Teacher of the Month

KONP Radio Station Manager Todd Ortloff announced last week that Tim Rooney, a fifth grade teacher at Crescent Elementary School, is KONP Teacher of the Month for February in the station’s recognition program begun this year.
